t8_locidx_t t8_forest_ghost_num_trees(const t8_forest_t forest)

Return the number of trees in a ghost.

Parameters:

forest – [in] The forest.

Returns:

The number of trees in the forest’s ghost (or 0 if ghost structure does not exist).
